Welcome to the Laurel Seth Gallery website- preserving 18 plus years of wonderful memories and beautiful art which was shown at that unique and eclectic little adobe gallery in Santa Fe!
After much soul searching and with mixed heart- grateful for the many enjoyable and successful years in the gallery business, combined with a desire to try something new that might help the natural world- Laurel Seth came to the decision it was time for a change, and so closed the gallery with a final thank-you party to artists and supporters on June 20, 2006.
Please continue to support the artists you have met through the Laurel Seth Gallery and this website! Your enthusiasm and interest is vital to artists- keep looking, keep enjoying and keep buying when you can!! You can find links to some former gallery artists here, and you can also search the Wingspread site by artist name.
Remember to trust your eye and your heart when you see a work of art you like. If it stays in your mind when you walk away, you might need to have it! The artist will be happy that their hard work has really touched someone, and that it is now in a happy home being enjoyed and appreciated.
Thank you for your kind and sincere interest in the Laurel Seth Gallery and the artists who showed there - and please enjoy this website tour.
Our Secure Online Store for posters, prints and books is still up and running and thriving, so do click on that link.
The Laurel Seth Gallery was praised as a REAL Santa Fe gallery - unpretentious, informal
and honest with a wonderful selection of fine art.
A second generation Santa Fean
and a second generation gallery owner, Laurel Seth continues to be active
in many aspects of the arts and in her community, She has served
on the boards of major local and regional arts organizations
and is also involved in preservation and conservation issues.
The Laurel Seth Gallery showed paintings from the early Taos Founders
and the Cinco Pintores, and had a wide selection of traditional
Southwestern paintings and sculpture. The main focus of the gallery
was on fine art, and included works by local and established artists Valerie
Graves, (her website is ValerieGraves.com)
Andy Mauldin, Sandra Place,
Cary Dirlam, Geoffrey Landis GeoffreyBuddLandis.com and many others. The gallery also featured museum-quality
works by Gustauve Baumann, Joseph Imhof, Oscar Berninghaus, Fremont
Ellis, JH Sharp, Brooks Willis and others as well as notable works from individual collections and estates.
